Wednesday, June 24, 2009 at 1:02PM Photo-drop Lr can be used to create a simple, private, interactive proof or contact sheet for you to share with your clients by using the plug-in to export smaller jpegs to drop.io
Haven't bought the plug-in? Don't worry, you can do this with just the trial version of Photo-drop Lr too.
- In Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 2, open the Library module and select the images you want to add to your proof sheet.
- File->Export... and select the Photo-Drop Lr export location by clicking on the Export dialog banner.
- Select a drop (preferably an empty one!) or create a new one.
- Tick the box to open the drop when the upload is complete
- If you have the full version, set the output to JPEG, about 60-80 quality, re-size to about 500-800 pixels on the longest side.
- Click export.
- Go work on something else.
When the upload is complete (which won't take long for small JPEGs!), copy the URL and send it to your client. drop.io will create a thumbnail view of the jpegs by default, just click to zoom in. You can then collaborate in real time to discuss the photos using chat, comments or even just pick up the phone and talk!
Download the free trial of Photo-drop Lr or go ahead and buy it.
